If NATO wants to increase its membership, consent of all existing NATO members is needed first, but there must be more than one member against this, at least Hungary will not agree, and Turkey may not agree.

Furthermore, during this interview with British media, Kissinger also suggested that United States should learn to coexist with China and that the United States should not misinterpret China.
